1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using News Video Maker, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create an account and use News Video Maker.
3. Account Registration
You can create an account using email and password, Google Sign-In, or phone number with OTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Phone & Google Authentication
Phone sign-in uses OTP verification delivered via Firebase Phone Authentication or 2Factor.in, depending on configuration. Google Sign-In uses your Google account to authenticate you, subject to Google's own terms of service.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you create, upload or publish using the app, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use News Video Maker to create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading in a way that causes harm, infringing, or that violates the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
7. Templates
Templates provided within the app — including Free and Premium templates — are provided for use within the app to create your videos. Some templates may be restricted to Premium subscribers or to specific users as part of promotional or admin-managed access.
8. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, text and other content you add to your projects. By using the app, you grant us the limited permission necessary to process and render that content on your device to produce your exported video. As described in our Privacy Policy, your created videos and images are not permanently stored on our server as part of the normal editing/export workflow.
9. AI Voice
The AI Voice feature converts text you enter (up to 500 characters) into a synthesized voice-over using a third-party text-to-speech service. You are responsible for ensuring the text you submit does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
10. Copyright & Intellectual Property
The News Video Maker app, its templates, graphics, and branding are the property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute or resell templates or app assets outside of their intended use within the app.
11. Subscription & Payments
Premium features are available through a paid subscription (monthly or yearly). Payments are processed through supported third-party gateways (Razorpay, Cashfree) or manual UPI payment, subject to admin configuration. 12. Third-Party Services
The app relies on third-party services including Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, 2Factor.in, payment gateways, and a text-to-speech provider. Your use of features backed by these services is also subject to each provider's own terms.
13. Service Availability
We aim to keep News Video Maker available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
14. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. You may also stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.
15. Limitation of Liability
News Video Maker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
16. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically; continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
